‘Africann-Talk” which is short for African cannabis talk, aims to use the media to educate and enlighten legislators, businesses and the civil society about the major differences between Industrial Hemp and Indian Hemp (Marijuana) and how imperative it is that the true knowledge of this plant’s potential is unearthed, for Africa to adapt and flourish in the fourth industrial revolution.

Through experts, our determination is to educate and inspire ; by showcasing innovative, value-added hemp products as a way of advocating (with practical evidence) for the legislation of Industrial Hemp in Africa. Through mass appealing and easily palatable digital media, AfriCann Talk highlights how Industrial Hemp (the non-narcotic version of the Cannabis Family) with its numerous benefits, can be of transformational impact to the industrialization of Africa in today’s green economy.

In part 1 of this episode, Ojuxe discusses women in cannabis, product development and policy making with the first African/black cannabis expert in the world, Nigeria’s own, Dr Yewande Okuleye (phD) and the trailblazing woman in the African Industrial Hemp space ,Dr Zorodzai Maroveke from Zimbabwe.
